The Art of Manifesting Abundance in Business

I had the opportunity today to watch The Secret again. I've watched it a few times, and each time it speaks to me in a new way. Today was more of a deeper realization of the original impact, if that makes any sense. I realized that I have fallen back to some old patterns, to some old ways of thinking and my business was not growing as rapidly as a result. We all get into ruts, and The Secret to manifesting Abundance in Business, is to recognize when we are getting into one and IMMEDIATELY change the thought pattern. What I do, is say "STOP!" out loud, to abruptly STOP the destructive or negative thought. I then will state something that I am grateful for. Those statements generate feelings of gratitude which manifests more to be grateful for. I believe this with all my being because I have seen it work in my life.
The MasterKey System and Mentors in Motion training gives us real life application for applying The Secret, and discovering those programs along with my current Amigo Team are among the things that I am most grateful for in my business today. I feel such warmth and gratitude when I think of Jim Gras, the first mentor who saw my potential and showed it to me. What is key here, is that he showed it to me. When I think of what Jim has done for me, it really isn't about teaching me how to market online. Sure he's showed me a few tricks, but in all honesty, what he really did was believe in me. His belief in me made me believe, and as a result I have manifested results. That belief is a far greater gift than all the marketing tips I have learned. I am a different person today because of attracting these incredible people into my life. One of the most important things you can do to manifest abundance in your business is to have a sense of gratitude. I am grateful for my friends and associates on my Amigo Juice Team.
The Power of Gratitude
Gratitude is a very powerful emotion because when we "feel" grateful, we cannot help but feel good. As a child, my parents and grandparents, like most, used guilt and fear as primary methods of discipline. While their intention was good (we all know what the road to hell was paved in right?), it was destructive and led to some residual negative feelings. For example, I was a very picky eater (still am). If I had a dollar for every time I heard about starving children in 3rd world countries, I could feed every one of them!
The intent was to teach me gratitude, and that gratitidue was supposed to make me eat my cabbage. It truly didn't make the cabbage any more attractive to me, but it did make me feel sadness for the starving children who WOULD be grateful for something that I was not only not grateful for, but resentful of! It made me feel like a horrible human being. Sometimes I would gag the food down, but certainly not happily.
Guilt and gratitude do not belong in the same sentence. You cannot teach gratitude. As parents and grand parents we can help our children to recognize and express their gratitude. I think it borders on abusive to burden children with such problems as world hunger. Children should not be taught to be grateful for things they have BECAUSE others do not. True gratitude brings about feelings of joy, not guilt. When we are truly grateful, we feel blissful and blessed. It is difficult to feel blessed for a having a plate full of food with an image of a starving child in our head!
If you are struggling in your business or in your personal life, I urge you to STOP whatever you are thinking. STOP and think about something you have for which you are grateful. It be something very small. In fact, it is the small things, and an appreciation of those small things that accumulate into a life time of memories and joy.

Happy Valentine's Day - No recording Today
Valentine's Day 2007... for me it's an excuse to eat chocolate... otherwise it's simply a very brilliant commercial scheme LOL.
I was having some major issues today with maintaining my connection in the conference room. As a result, the recording is in 4 pieces, and it is very cumbersome to upload. I will work on it, but it won't be posted today. We went over how to create a Who Is Page using nvu html wysiwyg (What You See Is What You Get) editor. We used nvu simply because many people are somewhat familiar with it, and it's free, however it is not a tool that I am overly familiar with. Like any tool, it requires some playing with to get familiar and understand what it can and cannot do.
The point to this is "just do it". A "Who Is" page is a critical component to branding YOU, Inc on the internet. Once you brand yourself as an internet marketer, you can market whatever you like. It has been said, and it is true, that people join people not products when it comes to network marketing opportunities. Your most critical campaign in your online adventures is the one promoting you.
On Monday, we discussed how to use your traffic portals to brand yourself. Today, we talked about making a page to brand yourself and introduce to your prospects. On Friday we will talk about Traffic Swarm, and how to use it to generate some premium leads. We will go over what we have done so far - we will take a look at our traffic portals and tighten up our configuration, and if time permits we'll have a look at Free FFAs.

5 Day Foundation Training
Our Veretekk Training Rooms are limited to 20 seats. The response to this 5 day training has been quite over whelming! Many were left out, and I am getting numerous requests to send the recording through Skype. I actually spent about 1/2 hour today sending the recording to some of those, however I know I missed some, and I really don't want to spend this kind of time sending files... so I will be posting my classes here.
This is all about laying the Foundation with your Veretekk System. It is the basics expanded upon for about 8+ hours. We started with an overview of the Veretekk system; what it is, what it does, and why setting it up right is critical. The majority of the rest of the time is spent in the heart of the system - the Traffic Portals. In my opinion, it is in the heart that the foundation lies. This training does not replace your Basic Silver Communication and your Basic Configuration classes... it is meant to be an enhancement. Repetition is very important - and you'll find that the more training you get, the better your system will serve you as you serve others.

Giving to Get... Is it Wrong?
One of the concepts common in network marketing is success through helping others achieve success. I had an interesting conversation with a fellow marketer a short while back about the concept of giving in hopes of receiving. This gentleman is a religious man and his idea was that giving in order to receive, or giving to get, is the exact concept behind tithing. Members of a church congregation are encouraged to give 10% of their earnings to the church. They are told that they will be given back 10 fold - and you would be hard pressed to find a person who tithes regularly who doesn't agree that they do get back more than they give. Some will say that you must give in the spirit of giving, not with the expectation of getting back, but there seems to be agreement that giving begets getting.
My personal opinion is that it is not wrong to give for the purpose of receiving. I would take it a step further and suggest that it would be difficult for a human being, no matter how noble, to not consider that "perk" or have some sort of expectation. The "what's in it for me" syndrome is truly human nature. It does not always imply selfishness, but rather, as humans we tend to make our decisions based somewhat on our logic of what will benefit us.
After my conversation with the religious gentleman, I began to pay closer attention to the giving to get concept - and to tithing in particular. While I wouldn't consider my observations to be qualitative research, I believe that I made some interesting discoveries. It appears to me that those who tithe do so believing that it is in their own best interest to tithe. They believe that they will be rewarded, and most believe that they have been or are being rewarded. This tells me that the majority who make a practise of tithing do so with some expectations. It further tells me that they have faith. So, is it the tithe or is the faith that is truly the pre-curser to the reward?
It led to me to further think about those who do not prescribe to a particular faith. Those who rely on alternative spiritual growth - I would be one of those. I do not belong to a church, but I consider myself spiritual. I consider myself to be on a path of spiritual growth, and I learn and grow from the teachings of various individuals. Some would have no idea that they were my spiritual guides... but that is an entirely different post...
I am considering doing an experiment on tithing. I am considering tithing to various people - individuals who have impacted my spiritual development in a given week, or perhaps month. Wouldn't that be a wonderful way to say thank you? To send a check or a paypal sum to an individual for 10% of my week's income with a note or post script stating simply "Tithe".
I hope to hear from others who are doing this because I know they are out there. In my opinion, this is such a fantastic way of "testing" the tithe, but more importantly, of distributing it in a fair and unselfish manner. Think about it. Suppose that I decided to tithe my 10% this week to a multi millionaire who provided me with some spiritual guidance. Suppose that my multi million dollar spiritual guide was so moved to tithe in the same manner. Now suppose that he received his guidance from someone very poor... his 10% could make a remarkable difference in the life of a very deserving recipient.
Hmmm.... sounds a little like pay it forward... which was a wonderful movie.

Success - it's all about Team Work
If you talk to truly successful internet marketers, you will discover that they have some things in common. One of the "secrets" to their success is working in teams. Teamwork truly does make the dream work when it comes in marketing online. This is, of course, particularly true if you are in network marketing.
Our Amigo Juice Team has three slogans that govern our actions. They include: "Teamwork makes the Dreamwork", "the more you learn, the more you earn", and my personal favorite "No Networker Left Behind". This is a spin on the political slogan of "No Child Left Behind". It is one thing to claim to not leave anyone behind, but completely another to actually DO it. This team is truly amazing. We attract networkers with a true desire to help others. We understand the concept of achieving success through service to others. We live it each and everyday. We have team members who are brand new to the internet and others who are experts. Personal growth and skill development are on-going regardless of where individuals are at in either process.
My personal group has developed our own branch off the Amigo Juice Team, and we call ourselves, the Amigo Synergy Group. This name was presented to me by Mr. Rick Todd. When Rick joined my group, he could see early on that there was something different about our team. Stay Positive when Dealing with Discouragement
Do you deal with other people's discouragement in your business? It seems that people have unrealistic expectations when it comes to marketing on the internet. Perhaps it is because of the BS and the hype about various get rich quick ventures. Even when they find a legitimate internet business, people become discouraged when they don't achieve those instant results. Instant wealth, get rich quick, is a scam! Developing an internet business is no different than building a brick and mortar business when it comes to the building phase. It is completely unrealistic to think that you can build a site, or join a network marketing company, and achieve instant sales. You must be committed. You must stay committed. It is a journey, a process. It is absolutely possible to create wealth via an online business, but it won't happen overnight. When you make that commitment and see it through - that is when magic starts to happen!
I am completely open and honest with people who are considering joining me in my businesses. You will NOT get rich overnight. But, if you are consistent and if you are committed, you will make a lot of money. You know most people give up just before they were about to make it big. Some don't wait that long. The reality is that it is a small percentage of people who will actually stick it out and build a business. I don't pretend to understand that reality because I am certain that most people WANT to make money. The only rational explanation I can come up with is that they have unrealistic expectations, so when they don't make the big bucks right away, they think they've been duped and move on. I find myself getting frustrated when I bring people into my business and they don't "get it". It frustrates me because I know that I can help them to achieve what they truly desire... if only they could believe in themselves. The things you need the most are things that no one can teach - belief and worthiness. You have to believe that you are worthy of success in order to achieve it.
Another reality is that with committment and persistence, just about any program on the internet will produce an income. That is not to say that all programs on the internet are legitimate. One must do their due diligence and steer clear of shady opportunities. There are legitimate programs that I think are a rip off too. My philosophy is that education should be free. I know people who have spent thousands on various internet or marketing training programs. I have spent money myself on training programs - and then I found Veretekk, and discovered that much of the training I paid for was either outdated or just plain ineffective. Everything you need to know about internet marketing, you can learn through Veretekk for free. There are other programs out there (who shall remain nameless) that are probably fantastic programs... some that even offer to close your sales for you... again probably fantastic programs, but I now know that anyone can make money online without spending a fortune.
Initially, your investment is in time. You must spend the time to learn the craft of internet marketing. Depending on your learning style, past experience, time that you can devote, the time frame will vary. If you are looking for a program or system that will get you on the fast track, you are making a mistake. There are no short cuts. You must devote the time to master the craft. Don't look at your internet business any differently than any business. If you were working toward becoming a brain surgeon, you would have no choice but to invest the time to learn the skills. Would you go to a doctor who found a way to get into practise without first learning his craft?
The REAL SECRET to success in anything - business or personal - is in developing a successful mindset. YOU are the key to your success. If you lack commitment, you will not succeed. If you lack consistent persistence, you will not succeed. Once you develop yourself, and the mindset, opportunities will present themselves to you. You will learn to recognize opportunities, and you will have the courage to seize them when they arise. Creative ideas will flow, and success will become effortless. To those commited to the journey, I commend you. To those who desire success that continues to elude them, I urge you to believe in yourself and to believe in your worthiness. Internet Marketing Training
Next month will mark the one year anniversary of my membership with Veretekk. I can't believe how much I have learned in one short year! As my way of giving back to the community that has given me so much, I have taken the plunge and have become a Veretekk trainer. I will be doing a basic orientation to the community and the system on Fridays at 12:00 noon PST.

I just got off a Mentors In Motion call, hosted by the one and only Mr. Val Smyth. Val shared with us that he believes going to work is a scam. I have to agree with him! Think about it for a minute. You go to work for your employer, to increase his personal wealth. You trade your time for a wage. The wage is usually just enough to keep you coming back for more. The government gets in on the scam by having the employer deduct income tax from your pay. What other business (and government is business) gets to charge you advance for what you may purchase or owe? That would be illegal wouldn't it? Yet the governements are allowed to deduct income tax from employees pay for a bill that they MAY owe at income tax time! Interesting concept... work for an employer being a scam.
